I CAN'T WAIT TO GET...

On the road again I just can't wait to get on the road again The life I love is makin' music with my friends And I can't wait to get on the road again

On the road again Goin' places that I've never been Seein' things that I may never see again And I can't wait to get on the road again

Here we go, on the road again Like a band of Gypsies we go down the highway We're the best of friends Insisting that the world keep turnin' our way

And our way is on the road again I just can't wait to get on the road again The life I love is makin' music with my friends And I can't wait to get on the road again, break free And I can't wait to get on the road again

- Willie Nelson

I've gotten a ton of questions from you guys about what it's like to be on the tour bus going from city to city. You might be surprised, but I actually have NEVER gone on the bus overnight! I will usually try to make a trip about a week long and rent a car so we can do some sightseeing...BUT...That's all going to change in two days when I head out to Las Vegas to meet Ryan and the guys (I'll tell you why later on in the post - it's REALLY exciting!). I'm going to be on the bus for at least one night and, to be honest, I'm kind of nervous! It's definitely a nice place to hang out after a show or two, but driving and sleeping on it is a whole different ballgame. I'm sure you all imagine the life of touring to be glamorous and I would have believed you before I knew for myself. Unless you are a HUGE band (like The Rolling Stones huge) you probably cram all of the band members and crew into one bus, which is what Twiddle does. Just imagine what a bus filled with 10 guys is like... And even more so, what it's like to be the only girl on that bus LOL!

Anyways, I'm really excited to go out west, get away from this cold weather and see Ryan, even though it has only been a few weeks since he left - luckily this is a shorter tour. For some reason the tours in the colder months just seem so long. I've been super busy this time so it's gone pretty fast - and I'm super excited to share a little of what I've been working on with you guys.

Over the summer I began helping manage the career of one of my great friends Taraleigh Weathers. You may have remembered me mentioning her and her book "How To Rock Your Life: Maintain the Magic of Live Music in Your Everyday Experience" in the My 2018 Resolutions post. Taraleigh and I planned an awesome book tour that will be taking place over the next few weeks where she will collaborate with a variety of touring artists for pre-show events. Each will have an amazing audience-involved activity like juice bar cocktail hours, yoga classes, dance parties, sharing circles, live interviews with band members, etc. For our first event we will be heading to Las Vegas where she will host an intimate acoustic concert and interview with Twiddle at the Zappos Headquarters.

I can't wait for you guys to see what we put together and I will be announcing more of the dates soon. Hopefully some of you will be able to come out for one (or more!) of the events. Stay tuned to Twiddle's Facebook page for a live stream of the event on February 9th at 1PM PST.

xoxo. Alexandra
