It was so exciting to head out to west last weekend for my first event and some touring with Twiddle. Taraleigh and I arrived in Old Vegas on Thursday so we had a nice amount of time to hang out and explore before the boys got into town. We walked along Fremont Street, ate some amazing sushi, and headed over to the Neon Boneyard (which we’ve both wanted to see for years!). The experience was honestly SO COOL! In the past when I've gone to Vegas, the weekends were filled with debauchery - so it was so nice to journey off the strip while we were there and see how Vegas USED TO BE. Our tour guide at the Neon Boneyard was insanely knowledgeable and told us all about the beginnings of the city and its growth under the influence of the casino kingpins and mobsters. The boneyard was eerily beautiful with over 150 neon displays, each chipped, faded, and filled with broken bulbs.
