MORE OF RED ROCKS WEEKEND

After a LONG night of celebrating how awesome the Twiddle Red Rocks show was we still had another full day ahead of us! We spent the day barbecuing with our family before heading back to Red Rocks for Phil Lesh and the Terrapin Family Band! It was so nice to see the whole Lesh family and more of our frends/Grateful Dead family. The Red Rocks team really knows how to take great care of their guests and we were given our own area to hang out both backstage and when we were watching the show. I spent most of the show with Claire Lesh, who you may remember from her guest post on the blog, and Phil's wife Jill. We had an amazing time watching from the soundboard area. One of the major highlights of the show was watching Mihali sit in and sing when they played Fire on the Mountain and The Music Never Stopped. Check out some video I took below (I apologize for the quality LOL)!

Sunday was the last day of the trip for most of us. Our family members left super early in the morning and my flight was a redeye that night. But I had to squeeze in one more show before I left! We headed to Ophelia's Electric Soapbox for Mihali and Frends where Phil Lesh again came out during both the opening set from Cosmic Twang and the Mihali and Frends set. I was pretty bummed that I had to leave right at the break between the two sets but after seeing the videos and hearing the show I am super jealous of everyone that was there! Check out this highlight video which you can also find on Mihali's Facebook Page!

While it was sad to leave Denver it was truly such an incredible weekend. I will never forget the memories we made, the smiles on everyones faces, and the pure joy that Twiddle brought to all of us during their FIRST headlining show at Red Rocks! AND It was definitely nice to be back in my own bed snuggling with Oscar after a LONG redeye flight home. I can't wait to see where the next adventure will take us!
