This is my first attempt at meal prepping so BEAR WITH ME! In my last post I showed you guys what I typically buy at the grocery store when I go shopping. Though we sometimes buy meal kits like Sun Basket (click HERE for my largest discount code yet for $80 OFF - $35 OFF your First, $25 OFF your Second & $20 OFF your Third Orders), we usually go food shopping once every other week or so for the essentials like fresh produce and fresh fish! I find that the hardest times of the day for me to figure out what I want to eat and STAY HEALTHY is when I want a snack or at lunchtime. I found these really cute glass Bento Box containers from Amazon and bought a bunch so that I can easily prepare meals ahead of time and avoid reaching for whatever is easy and, therefore, most likely unhealthy. I also followed a tip from Pinterest and purchased a set of a dozen Ball Jars from Amazon so that I can make a DIY Salad Bar for my fridge! Isn't that a genius idea?! I think it will definitely help me stick with my goal of trying to have at least one salad a day, too. I'm so glad I did this, especially with being sick this week - it is making my life SO MUCH EASIER!
