WHERE TO STAY | MY GUIDE TO CAPE COD: PELHAM HOUSE RESORT

My family and I have begun to make it a tradition to take a mini vacation for my mom's birthday each year. You my remember last year's trip when my sister, Samantha, and I took her to Greenport, Long Island (you can read my Guides to Greenport HERE) and had the MOST RELAXING long weekend. This year we decided to go to Cape Cod, as none of us have EVER been, and my brother decided to join along in the fun!


Cape Cod is the perfect spot to visit if you're into quaint villages, seafood shacks, lighthouses, and beaches. On this trip we decided to make Pelham House Resort our home base while we explored the area and neighboring towns of Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket. The resort is absolutely STUNNING, and is located directly on the ocean. You can relax on the private beach or the beachfront pool which has the most beautiful views of the Nantucket Sound.




The resort has an amazing rooftop restaurant 14 Sea Street that we dined at two of the nights because it was just that good! One thing that I especially loved is that the menu from the restaurant is also available poolside AND fireside! The resort has so many cozy fire pits that offer views of the ocean so it was such a treat to be able to curl up with a cocktail and some delicious food after a long day of sightseeing. And that was exactly what we did on our last night in Cape Cod after tracking to Nantucket for the day. There was a live local musician playing while we enjoyed some wine, specialty cocktails, yummy appetizers and even yummier desserts! Plus, I finally got to try the Venison Carpaccio that I had been dreaming about since we checked in! SPOILER ALERT: it was SO WORTH THE WAIT!
