The charming architecture of Rosemary Beach creates a sense of community unlike any other town that I visited along Scenic 30A. The carefree beach neighborhood of Seaside looks like it is straight out of a movie - because it is! The Truman Show was filmed here, and you can immediately recognize the perfect pastel houses, white picket fences and manicure lawns that Truman Burbank "grew up" in. Alys Beach is perhaps one of the most visually stunning towns I have visited in a long time! The sugar-white sand and turquoise waters are complimented by a carefully crafted world in which all of the homes and buildings are whitewashed and nestled in the palm trees.
